Sinergo 2020

The 2020 vintage was marked by an overall balanced climatic pattern, with a warm summer free from prolonged extremes and a favourable diurnal temperature range in the weeks leading up to harvest. Rainfall, though irregularly distributed, was sufficient to support the vines through ripening without critical water stress, allowing for a gradual and complete phenolic maturation.

In the vineyard, particular attention was given to grape selection, favouring parcels and individual vines capable of expressing greater natural balance. Harvesting took place at full ripeness, with the aim of preserving freshness, aromatic integrity and precision of fruit.

The wine underwent an ageing period of two years in wood. Bottling took place in September 2022, and the wine has now spent approximately three years and three months in bottle.

The resulting profile is that of a solid and authentic Sangiovese, with a well-integrated tannic structure, lively acidity and a clean aromatic expression, fully consistent with the character of the vintage and the estate’s production philosophy.
